Scottish Highlands
About Scottish Highlands
Scottish Highland cattle are one of the oldest recorded breeds. Being raised in the harsh conditions of the Scottish Highlands created a process of natural selection. Highlands are foragers and have a double coat which makes their meat higher in iron, higher in protein and lower in cholesterol. Highlands also make great pets, as they have a very docile temperament. Our Highlands have multiple acres to roam free where they have pasture as well as forage opportunities. Our Highlands are grass fed with supplemental protein and minerals in the winter months.
